Enhance Your Coaching Skills with Walt Christianson

Saanich Lacrosse Association is excited to host a series of box lacrosse coaching clinics designed to help coaches at all levels develop their skills and expand their knowledge of the game. These sessions provide a unique opportunity to learn from one of the top minds in box lacrosse and refine your coaching approach.

About the Clinics

This exclusive three-session series will feature on-floor instruction with a focus on Defense, Offense, and Special Teams. Each session will run for two hours and include practical drills, strategy discussions, and hands-on learning opportunities.

We hope to offer additional sessions in April for those who cannot attend over spring break. 

March 16 - 5:30 to 7:30 - Defense - Principles, positioning, transition, and effective team defense
March 23 - 5:30 to 7:30 - Offence - Scoring tactics, movement, transition, and offensive systems
March 30 - 5:30 to 7: 30 - Special Teams - Power play, penalty kill and situational strategies

About Walt Christianson

We are very pleased to have Walt Christianson, the current head coach of England Box Lacrosse, leading these clinics. Walt is a highly respected figure in the lacrosse world, having coached at the Junior, Senior, and professional levels, including time in the National Lacrosse League (NLL). His extensive experience and deep understanding of the game make these sessions an incredible opportunity for coaches looking to elevate their skills.
