2025/26 COACHING APPLICATIONS

All sports organizations rely on the knowledge, time and dedication of volunteer coaches to function. Saanich Lacrosse is no different. 

Being a coach is about more than teaching a player how to play a sport. Coaches are first and foremost positive role models that contribute to the growth of their players as people. They teach players the values of teamwork, relationship building, discipline and hard work as well as individual and group achievement. Saanich Lacrosse is very fortunate to have a large pool of coach volunteers across all age groups. 

Coaching applications for the 2025/26 season are now open. The Association will require both Head Coaches and Assistant Coaches for the upcoming season. The Association will form a Coach Selection Committee (Committee) to review applications relative to the number of teams it expects to form.  

Those interested in coaching should fill out the Coach Application Form.

Head Coach applicants must fill out and submit their applications by Sunday, December 21, 2025. This will give the Committee sufficient time to review and select coaches prior to evaluations. Assistant Coach applicants must submit their applications by January 31, 2026 (although earlier is preferred). The Committee will provide approved assistant coach candidates to Head Coaches to select their staff.
